Join us for the dance party of the season! Thrilled to welcome guest DJ Baby Alcatraz who will be spinning all vinyl all night at A Spring Sock Hop. Lose yourself on the dance floor to rockin’ soul, R&B, and rock hits and hidden treasures. No need to remove your shoes on this gym floor— just come ready to dance the night away. DJ Baby Alcatraz is from Save Your Soul Baltimore, one of the biggest dance parties in the city for the past 20 years. Read her bio below. Party with a cause: a portion of event proceeds will be donated to support the Rappahannock Food Pantry.

ABOUT:  DJ Baby Alcatraz has helped redefine the way party goers think about a night out dancing. Her all-vinyl record parties, like Baltimore’s monthly institution Save Your Soul, make people forget about requesting Top 40 hits and lose themselves in classic soul, rock ’n’ roll, and R&B. You’ll hear hidden gems to hits and everything in between with a focus on the 60’s… think Motown groups, Stax records, and Muscle Shoals. 

She has provided music and hosted parties for the Kennedy Center, the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design, the National Gallery of Art, the Howard Theater, the Warner Theater, 9:30 Club, U Street Music Hall, and other venues around the country as a guest and on national tours. Join us for dinner on New Year’s Eve for fantastic Chef’s Specials, Sparkling Cocktails, and desserts worth celebrating with! Our favorites will be available in addition to our celebratory menu. Dinner served 5-9pm. Reserve your seat!

Halloween Costume Dance Party | Live DJ

Come out on Friday, November 1st to our Halloween Costume Ball! Prepare to don your costumes for an ghoulishly good dance party inside the historic (and some may say, haunted) auditorium of The Sperryville Schoolhouse at The Black Twig. Early bird tickets grant you a complimentary drink and access to the spooky hors d’oeuvres table. A portion of proceeds from this event will be donated to a local community organization.
